During Design Week Mexico 2015, the Dutch office andrews:degen imparted the workshop 'Mapping the City' at CENTRO's campus. Under the guidance of the designers, who have already taught this workshop in over sixteen cities, we pursued a speculative design process in which we analyzed the current dystopian state of Mexico City.

Throughout this intensive week we developed projects individually to later introduce into a collective publication: 'Cont.neto 40 páginas'. My entry consisted in a reflection on the public space and the remaining low priority pedestrians are given. 'The Tianguis Democracy' is an aesthetics proposal that reconsiders public means –now disastrous and decadent– appropriating them democratically as is done in Mexican flea markets.
